Does anyone else think he could do a great job for us in the centre of the pitch?

Leave him where he is... too weak in the tackle and would lose a little bit of the link with 'Luis' Enrique...
It would also mean leaving nolan tiote or barton out or moving them around.
Not broken, don't fix IMO.

 

Hmmm I think he would give away too many silly freekicks in the centre, however, if he practiced his tackling he would be a very good box to box midfielder

 

It's more the fact we could have him and Ben Arfa playing off each other and when one cuts inside the other moves out to the wing, but it would be a case of who to drop as our midfield is probably the strongest area atm.
When all our players are fit, Pardew will have a proper nightmare - except it will be for all the right reasons this time!
