Guys...his Mum has cancer so she doesnt want him to move far away. If things take a turn for the worse he can be back to see her quickly.

How you can jibe at that or think it's irresponsible I dont know. He loves his Mum and wants to make sure he can be there if things get worse which he cant do if he's in London.
Very sensible if you ask me.
