It's the perfect time to play em Cest, They've been kicking off at mere suggestion But I think we reserve the right to take a bit of confidence into this game considering our season. I reckon the sold out away support is going to agree. So long as the players are guarding themselves from complacency I think us fans can approach this game with a smile on our face.
Our last 6 games against Hull, have all ended up in a Sunderland victory. Scored 13 (I think) conceded 2
Bri I get the feeling from a lot of the lads I know and just from the general crack that we have turned a corner with this win and as I have just said in another post we may not realise the full extent of that win until later in the season. Defeat on Sunday would have all but finished us and yet a win has given us all a fragile but genuine confidence again. The weekends cant come quickly enough now.
7 out of the last 10. 2 for hull and one draw. Cracking record but means nowt on the day. Just hope there is such thing as a bogey team on saturday.
Isn't a week a long time in football, Cest said, "We are in for a torturous afternoon next Sunday. A total thrashing is most likely on the cards and will be the death knell for our season. I wanted to believe Poyet could turn this round but after that pathetic 2nd half performance yesterday. I am convinced we are down and all we have now is to not beat Derby County's record. I am not convinced right now we have the wherewithal to do that tonight."
Everyone who said the likes of Colback / Bardsley / Whickham etc etc should never pull on a shirt again! It's 'our' game and a game of opinions.. Some opinions 'right' and many opinions 'oh so wrong'!!!
