I really think things like this are designed for the governments attention in the Polices political fight against cuts. I can see a reason for some control but it will almost certainly get out of control.

I hope they don't check this site during our derby days, we will all be fcuked, can just imagine the news headline now

'Huge police operation in South Wales to arrest fans of Swansea and Cardiff for online abuse of each other'

'Crime rose dramatically today in South Wales, due to police dealing with operations arresting fans for banter'

Can't remember us signing anything homophobic at Brighton, we must have been in the enlightened 30% that didn't!

I don't think this is about police trawling forums but like Gransha says FB and Twitter can see some terrible comments and those can be viewed by a huge audience including young kids and those of a more sensitive nature than us (e.g Swansea fans).

Can we still sing .."One nil to the Sheepshaggers " if we are 1-0 up ?

Do we report ourselves, how much fine do we pay us???

This will be the death knell of sites like this one. We are all aware of the main no go areas. One persons understanding of abuse is another persons banter.

I will be taking a notebook and pen to all matches this season to write down all opposition fans names who use the term sheepshaggers. Including our own. :police:

FFS we have mods, for me the moment people start snooping on forums and the like is the day i'll be gone........

Although we all have our own thoughts about what is banter and what is not, this forum is timid compared to FB & Twitter. I don't think we on here need to worry.

how is your kiva loan doing swamp?

6% repaid mate, when it gets to 50% i'll do another..........;)

Loan Update
Aleksandre purchased a car
Georgia
Aleksandre used the loan according to predetermined purposes. He purchased a car and now he serves people as a taxi driver. He is able to increase the income of his family and is very thankful to all Kiva lenders who financed his loan on the web-site.

Can't see it affecting this type of footy forum to be honest, but if the old bill want to snoop, then that's their prerogative, whatever floats your boat, they are all bent as butchers hooks anyway!........<cheers>
