I think Luke must be a manager’s dream player. His enthusiasm is fantastic and it shows in everything he does. From driving up here as soon as he could to his Xmas message (on the safc Sunderland Facebook thingy) He’s always smiling, his workrate is phenomenal and he never seems to look unhappy if not picked to play. When he scores you can see the joy in his reaction. He’s just the opposite of some we’ve had here over the years, you all know the ones I mean. Maybe some of them were a bit more talented but his workrate makes up for that and I think he’s improving all the time. He will also play anywhere and give it his best shot, something many players would sulk and complain about. I hope the best for him with us and can see him becoming a crowd favourite. You just can’t fault the lad.
Top lad but as nice as he is off the pitch he's a tough and physical player on it. Got goals in him too.
Think this lad has definitely got a good future under JR. He is the type of lad we have been missing for the last few years, a cult figure in the making.
Yes, we do seem to have a good bunch now. Duncan comes over as a right good lad as well for example. It’s refreshing after some of the one’s we’ve had in our recent history.
Did you see his 80 yard run in the last minute? I got a stitch just watching the f*cker. o9 is a class act.
Nice to feel proud win or lose init. It's like the old pre Keane PREM days before the mercenaries strolled into town(diouf and chimbonda) as they marked the beginning of bad times in terms of player attitude. Was all down hill from there. Way too many players not fit to wear the shirt. Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
Don't think he lost an aerial dual today. Seemed to stray into the midfield to challenge for balls in the air. Might have won more there today than Honeyman has all season.
Watching him on the ball, he seems to have some raw skill as well. Not easy to tackle him, hence the penalties. I hope to see him really flourish as the games go on...
Think O9 & Morgan could form a great understanding down our right hand side. Think Morgan deserves a start
I think he's a good all rounder, not bad on the ball, good finisher, hard tackler, runs for days and positionally solid. Great attitude to top it off. He's useful.
I wonder if they feed the lad a bale of hay before the game maybe the club should enter him into the Derby in the Summer?
