Yes, I agree, but Ben/Baz has really turned test Cricket on its head. It will be interesting to see if this is a short-term revelation that doesn't last long or change test Cricket and how it will be played in the future, I suspect the latter. I guess this style mirrors how the game is going, the shorter version has changed things and it sort of shows how life has changed also. Back in my childhood Cricket was a leisurely sport and playing for a 5 day draw suited the mood. Today, everything is different. and this new way suits how life is going.

a 3-match odi series between india and sri lanka just ended with india taking it 3-0. they won the final match by a record margin for odis - 317 runs. india got 390/5 (kohli 166no off 110, gill 116 off 97) and sri lanka were all out for 73.
Used to have a great side Sri Lanka. Sangakkara, Malinga, Murali, Vaas, Jayawardene, Jayasuriya, Dilshan. I suppose for an island their size they were punching well above their weight though
they certainly did. i think all their greats retired in within a very short amount of time, so getting back to that kind of level could take a while.
