I would add that it would have been great to have seen some of our Academy products in their prime.
I saw Bale play for us many times but it would have been great to have seen him in a Saints shirt last season, at the height of his powers.

Side stepping the obvious 'Messi' thoughts, when I read this one player sprung to mind. I watched him play for several clubs and honestly believed he was very much a player who would have acquired hero status at The Dell. His style of play would have suited us perfectly and he would have scored loads of goals. I hesitate cos I know there will be abuse but here goes.....

I'll keep it current and it's one that I believe we should have pushed the boat out for, especially with our cash laden pockets - Demba Ba. I think he'd have scored an absolute bucketful for us.
