We have had many players play for saints that you can call world class, i am interested to find out what player you would of loved to have seen in a saints shirt that never had the pleasure of actually playing for us.

This player can be present or past so the only rule is he never played for saints.

My pick would be Ronaldhinio. In my opinion one of the most skillfull players to ever play the game all ways plays with a smile on his face and comes across as a guy that you could have a few beers with.

Having played as a midfield playmaking General, my favourite non Saints players have tended to be Midfielders....As a kid it was Martin Peters and Alan Hudson and more recently it was Rui Costa.

EDIT Alan Hudson left Chelsea at the same time as Peter Osgood signed for Saints, I always thought that Lawrie Mac went for the wrong man, as much as I loved Ossie!

Can't disagree with any of these, best of course but from the class of 92 I would go for Scholes. Great player and quiet un flashy bloke.
