He is a right back who can play left back at the end of the day though. It stands to reason he'll be better in his natural role. And it will also balance the team better to have a left footed left back. It can be deceiving when someone has grown better in an adapted role over the season as to where they are best used. But he is a far better right back than he is left back. He is pretty versatile anyway so it won't matter which side he cuts in from.

He's been more confused trying to play left back all year but has got there eventually. If you see him play right back for the 21's, believe me its far from a confusing role to him. He's lethal. The only concern you'd have slightly is he is a naturally attacking full back. Him and Benni could end up like Bes and Ginola!

They're different sort of players - Enrique is much more defensive.

Personally I'm very happy with the upgrade. Enrique has never really had that much to his game, limited skills, positional awareness etc but his unbelievable strength and speed covered a multitude of sins, especially defensively. He never really offered anything going forward though.

I think Santon offers more to the team and is starting to look more composed and defensively as sound as Enrique.

That said I'd take Enrique back.
