Again that is your opinion, I respect Supers opinions and have done since we were in Lg1 and the old 606 but he was very vocal in his criticism of Adams he clearly doesn't rate Grabban very highly and if we do sign the young Arsenal defender he has already made up his mind that he will be a flop before he even arrives .
These are very bold views and they will cause a debate which i find healthy so I have never had a problem with that, long may it continue .

Do you really believe that? He was convicted for being a conman in the late 90's and continues to con folk on here that he has some inside knowledge

SN23 - I don't know if you go to home games, but I'm with Supers on this one. Yes, Grabban has scored 5 goals in 5 games, but with more clinical finishing, his tally could be even higher.

I'm happy to wait and see how the defender from Arsenal performs before judging him!!!!

Grabban has not been as clinical as he could be- there is considerable room for improvement and if he sharpens up, he could end up as the leading scorer in the division, assuming he keeps starting when and if Hooper starts/stays/plays

I may not be able to spot footballing talent, but I remember when we played Arsenal Reserves many years ago and thought the best player on the pitch was someone by the name of Jack Wilshire!!!! <cheers>
 
Having been part of our football club and others in the past gives me no greater insight than anyone who goes to games and knows what they're watching. I always say on here that I will post as honestly as I can. If I think a player is good I'll say so - if I think a player is gash I'll say so. If people don't agree that's up to them. If players or managers prove me wrong, one way or the other, so be it. Who really cares? It's just football

I have only watched the 2 Sky games so far and witnessed us score 1 goal, he is the only forward player who has managed to score and is currently the leagues top scorer Grabban is a budget buy £3m player and already he has scored more than Elmander RVW and Lafferty put together i don't think he is the next Ronaldo but what do you want from him?
Hooper is yet to achieve anything for us so at the moment he is our only credible goalscorer , we are not going to be buying any £10m strikers anytime soon so get used to watching what we have miss chances .
I am over the moon that Grabban has scored 5 in 5 and find it impossible to complain about his contribution.
If i had been lucky enough to be at the 3 games that i didn't watch live do you think seeing him score in the flesh would make me change my mind?
You went to 1 game JR does that make your opinions more valid than mine?

Let's get this straight! I do rate Grabban. I think he's a canny signing, especially for the fee we paid. My issue is with the roles of all three forwards. Are people unable to read these days?

I understand. But surely you understand that if a striker is scoring goals you don't mess things around and stick him on the wing? While he's scoring you leave him alone and let him get on with it.

Not sure why I'm engaging with a criminal anyway...
