I saw that too Flanman, but him handing in a transfer request and saying he'd like to work with Hughes is a long way from Blackburn accepting a bid, and then us working out personal terms, and then getting Samba to sign on the dotted line... can't imagine all that could get done tomorrow. Especially as the £7.5 million we've supposedly bid is a far cry from Blackburn's inflated £12million valuation. Fingers crossed he's here by the weekend though.

I would be surprised it that was granted so quickly or they will announce it subject to a work permit.
Is Kompanies ban up now? Maybe that frees up Onuha to join us.

 

I can only assume it is a player as yet not linked with us as that can be the only reason for cerny not saying as it could reveal his source. If it is someone we have already been linked to then he may as well have just said 'I reckon we will sign xxxxxx imminently' as its already out there. If that turns out to be the case then all these cryptic messages are sh1te! As ever time will tell eh!

Don't think Onouha would be coming to us until Kompany's ban is up, which is the 25th. He played the last bit of the game tonight, didn't have a chance to show himself really but didn't do anything wrong. My girlfriend's sister is friends with Nedum Onouha's sister so I keep trying to get her to find out what's going on! If I hear anything I'll let you guys know

 

The ban is up on the 31st with us playing the following day, it will be squeaky bum time if we leave it until the last minute.

Eh.....no. Kompany serves his last game against Liverpool in the 2nd leg of the League Cup the 25th. Already served against Liverpool in the first leg and Wigan tonight, Spurs this weekend will be #3 and 2nd leg the fourth.

Yeah i realised that I was looking at the PL fixtures and not including the cup, its better news for us but I dont think we have a game from the 25th to the 31st so its not like he will play an extra games for us. It just saves us getting done over if they change their mind.
