Having Clint available is actually a cost saving exercise.
We know he will keep himself fit (because he is Clint), we know he has the right attitude (because he is Clint), he will not be on a huge salary.
We have a good back up for one match suspensions, short term injuries and for the bench (and cup matches I expect too).

I am all in favour
And by the way I love Clint Hill.... a club legend!

Totally agree - and want him to stay, but it would serve no-one to just give him a role because. Ultimately it's up to the manager/DoF to decide if there is a role for him. We have been profligate for too long snd every outgoing needs to be costed and rational.

To be clear, still want him to stay 100% - just with a proper role in the setup.
