...Rosler sacked http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/29969583 fuses are still pretty short in some places, wonder who the next will be?
Cue "Let's sign him up"debate. Wigan had a good run in the top flight but they are a rugby town and don't deserve to be there . They can't even sell out their place against the top sides and as a result generate no atmosphere.
Sorry 23 - can´t see why they don´t deserve to be there, if they earn the right to be there, then by definition, they deserve to be there. Are they any less deserving (comparing crowd capacity) than QPR, Hull, ( another rugby town) or Burnley for example ? - don´t see it, I´m afraid.
He thinks it and he are being funny. Which is quite funny in itself. However, lets sign Rosler up, I'd love him here.
Yeah, I realised that, but I don't get how it's funny. I simply don't understand the joke. I'm not expecting the joke to be actually funny, it is JWM after all, but I would like to at least know what the joke is... Really? You've never said
The people of Wigan are indifferent towards soccer by and large so for most in Wigan it is not a big deal playing Chelsea Liverpool etc . Yes if they get promoted they deserve to play at the top level but if Leeds were in the top flight for example it would bring pride and happiness to all those loyal fans that pack out Elland rd. Even watching empty stadiums on tv makes for a bad atmosphere and too often a dull game. They hung in for the last few seasons narrowly avoiding relegation and sold their best players this formular was never going to keep working.
