    The worst thing about the wumming is that now everyone is crawling out of the woodwork with their oh so funny comments. Still, it shows the power shift everyone is banging on about still hasn't happened yet - I doubt people would be wumming City's board had they been the ones to lose by five goals. <ok>

    Their taste for winning games played a big part today I think. They didn't just want to win, they really wanted to send out a message to Utd and everyone else, and thus took pretty much every opportunity they got very clinically. A bit like us wanting to rub it in against Arsenal. But you are right - the question is now they have sent out that message, can they do it week in week out? After all, a 1-0 win is as good as a 6-1 win come the end of May.

    Errrr, it did happen against Torres. Twice. Pretty much all defenders have done something like that at some point in their careers.

    Surely the worst loss since Newcastle beat us 5-0 in 1996? Didn't we go on to win the league after that loss... :1980_boogie_down:

    Quite nice to predict a 3-0 to city before the game to a pal on facebook and then be proved to have totally underestimated the gap.

    It's on the Liverpool board cos I deleted the original wum from the Utd board. I've PMed syd, but guess he's not online atm.

    There may be two teams in Manchester, but there's only one Manchester team on not606! (Well I've gotta cling to something ;))
