I though Fed put hand on Stirling's neck to calm him down and Sterling pulled away making it look like he'd been hit. The slomo I saw today made it look like Federico was caught in the face.
TBH I'm not really concerned - when the ref did nothing over the Sterling attack there was never going to be any repercussions as it was seen and (in)action taken.

No , but Ive seen players retaliate to what Fernandrez did and get away with it .Sterling got away with it because of what Fernandez did. Now if Sterling did that out of the blue , I could see him getting sent off .But to to compare what Sterling did in retaliation to Fernandez to what Shelvey did , like you said on the Liverpool board , is stupid .
