20 years ago I can't believe how quick time has gone.
I had been Nightshift the night before. We knew there were problems at the Blast as no iron was coming up to us in the BOS.
Terrible terrible news the next day.An "accident" that could have been avoided.I want to say more but I think not.
Rest In Peace fellow steelworkers xx

I remember coming up the hill from Sarn on the M4 and there was a red/yellow glow in the sky over Port Talbot……

Jam packed north bank and there were villa fans on there for a short while....
My father had 2 tickets from Roy Bentley in the Centre Stand as he had had recent dealings with him - the Swans had signed a player from the Welsh League club that my dad was Hon Sec of just a short time before.

I was at the Vetch with my father - it was my 14th birthday.

We lost 1-2.
I remember that game I think it was the biggest crowd at the Vetch since the Arsenal FA cup game. The Villa had a terrific support even in that division and Azzuri is right there were some Villa fans on the North Bank but not for the whole game!

I don't normally but today couldn't pass without a remembrance to one of the best players I've had the privilege to watch
