21 Dec 2014

On this day we travelled to Tannadice (place I always liked goin) to face united, who had , in my experience, given us some great encounters there. Celtic lost the match (our only defeat on this date) 2-1 with all the goals being scored by current Celtic squad members :) History will show we went on to win the league regardless.

It was also the date, it is said, that the pilgrims landed on Plymouth rock in1620, in the good ol US of Crazyville.

Bet the Indians are glad that happened.

Overall playing record fro 21 Dec played 8, won 6, drawn 1, lost1, F15, A3

23rd Dec 2006

Was in hospital at KO time waiting for my son being born. The midwife, being a good Tim, asked if I minded her putting on the radio (of course I had no objections) Celtic were playing Falkirk at CP, but I can't say I was paying much attention. Celtic won the match 1-0, but my abiding memory of the whole thing was that, the moment the wee man arrived, Tommy Gravesen scored the winner. Made an amazing day even better

No, I didn't name him Tommy!:)

Overall record on 23rd Dec- played 4, won 3, lost 1

On this day I was bored so....a who is he quiz.

1. This Celtic player won his 62nd cap on this day in1982 in a world cup finals match v Russia.

2. On this day in1983 this Celtic player left to join Arsenal.

3. On this day in1940 this Celtic player was born. We paid £30k for him....but, within a year he had won every the club played for.

Fairly obvious so no googling! you'll only feel durty :)
