AT LAST A JACK IN THE BOX!

"Borini is a free agent at the end of the season because we couldn't offer him a contract while we did give Kakuta one. Of those two Borini is probably going to have a better career he is as good as the Rossi that Utd let go. Typical of our club we sign a player who has been off form for nearly two years when we already had a natural goalscorer on the books." - shed69 (chelsea fan)

SPURS DANNY ROSE ON LOAN

Swansea City want to sign Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Danny Rose on loan.

Swansea boss Brendan Rodgers, who managed the 20-year-old at Watford two years ago, is keen to beef up his attacking options as the Championship side bid to secure a place in the top flight. Former Leeds youngster Rose famously scored a 35-yard volley in last season's North London derby and has spent time on loan at Bristol City this season.

WEST HAM JOIN THE QUEUE FOR PRATLEY

The Sunday Mirror says West Ham United are set to battle it out with north-east rivals Sunderland and Newcastle United for the midfielder. Contract talks between Pratley and the Championship-chasing Swans broke down last August and now the 25-year-old is free to leave in the summer. Chairman Huw Jenkins rejected an offer from the Hammers in January for the midfielder, who has already bagged 10 goals this term and is being tracked by Sunderland and Newcastle.

LADBROKES

Championship battle to go right to the wire.

Swansea City produced another brilliant performance at the Liberty Stadium to see of fellow promotion rivals Nottingham Forest 3-2 on Saturday. The Swans are second favourites for the Championship title at 9/1 after their impressive win that came courtesy of goals from Scott Sinclair and a brace from on-loan debutant Fabio Borini.

Phillis - are you going for Aussie's title of "Cut and Paste King"?........<whistle>

I agree with Dude. I'd have thought that Borini would have a lot of offers if he was instrumental in getting you to the Prem.

Getting up there would provide you with the money to compete with some of the Prem clubs, but would HJ go that far given his past track record?

Well the point is this, he likes working under Rodgers, and did when Rodgers was the Chelsea Reserve coach, I think we are in the driving seat and stand a good chance of signing him!................. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Sparkey think Breezy has found a new Identity??...............
