I heard Allam has put anew application in to rename the Championship to the Premiership for next season.
I have been to Pearl Harbour and have seen first hand what remains of the Arizona as well as viewing the video prior to making the crossing to the memorial. Those who survived and/or lost relatives in the attack would say yes, it was right. The Japanese would not surrender and this would have resulted in thousands and thousands of American and Japanese losing their lives. The 'Bomb' resulted in unconditional surrender. War is a terrible occurrence and we must hope that it never happens again. Footnote: Whilst I was there I witnessed the attendance of a contingent of Japanese. A short documentary was made shortly afterwards interviewing the pilots and servicemen from both sides. It was interesting to see that they all 'warmed' to each other accepting the fact that during wartime you have to 'do your duty
You need to read "The making of the Atomic Bomb" by Richard Rhodes & "Nuclear Dawn" by James P Delgado But in summary Yes it was right
Strange thread, Mussie saying goodbye, again, somebody not happy about the Premiership reference & two guys talking about bombing Japan. Only on here !!!
