Good luck with that Musty. Be careful that they don't hit their resonant frequency as it can be very painful when they both start banging together.
I used to alternate my breakfasts between oatmeal with Ceylon cinnamon, or an 8-egg omelette (3 yolks) with 50g of smoked salmon. My typical diet for a day would be: 1 x pre-workout caffeine free shake with water and 1tbspn coconut oil Training - weights only, cardio once per month if that. 1 x post workout shake with almond milk, 1 scoop whey isolate, 2 scoops Vitargo Oatmeal/Omlette & Green Tea Fruit/Carrots Organic Chicken/Albacore Tuna with olive oil, avocado, tomatoes and spinach Whey protein shake with almond milk Chicken/Steak with 3 greens Casein Shake with full fat milk 3 litres of water spread throughout the day
I would rate myself around a 6.75 Play football twice a week, 5-a side and Sunday league. I very much go between weights and cardio, Last week I managed a 5k run every working day in the gym all under 28 mins. This week I've been mainly lifting. Will eat healthy for periods, Almond Milk protein shakes, fresh fruit veg and alike. But then I go through periods of eating and drinking everything. I could drink brandy and coke every day without fail and can get into a rut/routine and end up undoing a lot of hard work. Also quit smoking, albeit its been just over a week, but I haven't tried quitting for years and I'm overly ready, I already feel like I'm a successful quitter and its all behind me in what's been a very short period of time.
No recipe needed mate. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01GQ3KT2I/ref=twister_B01GQ3KMAC?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 You can get it from sainsburies and morrisons, I think, for £3 a packet. 100g is a large bowl full, so it depends how much you consider a serving. A 50g serving is still 22g. I just put some tomato/italian seasoning and things on top.
In order to get over a strong addiction which you struggle to get over, it's best you get addicted to something healthy. Addict yourself to exercise.
Home made healthy milkshake - 2x frozen bananas 350ml of Alpro chocolate milk 60-70g of Hemp seeds 25-30g of protein B vitamins Calcium Omega 3 25g of healthy fat. Vit D (from the milk) Magnesium and Iron
A lot of people think that fruit needs to be heavily limited because of the sugar in it, but it's not the same as eating free sugar. Sugar is toxic to humans in significant doses, but the anti-oxidants plus other properties of the fruit counter-act the toxic effects of the sugar. I don't eat a lot of junk food and the chocolate soy milk is the only sugary thing in my diet most days, and a 350ml serving is about 20g of sugar. 20g of sugar is less than the daily recommended limit.
Having a cheat afternoon like I always do. Still had my porridge this morning, but today enjoy a nice ice cold coca cola. Will enjoy a nice big vegan burger and chips tonight.
I'd say you're closer to 35g of sugar from 350ml of choc soy milk. Soy is also a poor source of nutrition. Fructose should be controlled, it's not a 'hall pass' sugar just because it's not processed. That's not a healthy shake really.
I eat about 4 pieces of fruit and 3-4 veg every day. 2 bananas, orange and either an avacado or some strawberries. Carrots, spinach, lettuce and tomatoes. Fruit does not cause diabetes and hasn't been proven to lead to any negative health effects except for those few nutty fruitarian vegans who live off only fruit and miss out on other sources of nutrition. When it comes to soy, I drink some most days and I eat Tofu. I don't see any reason not to eat it. The experts disagree on it. Tofu is a great soy based source of protein, calcium and iron. Choc Soy milk includes b12, D, calcium and 3g of protein per 100ml. I try to eat as many whole foods as I can.
I'm not having a dig at your entire diet mate, just pointing out that the shake isn't healthy. For Soy beans, there are many benefits, but the west refine the **** out of them beans, what's left after processing is not something I'd be consuming regularly. Are you a veggie/vegan? What's the reason for you taking protein from these 'hipster' sources as opposed to whey, eggs and meat?
To be fair there's a lot that is healthy he is eating so it's better than most people that are shovelling microwave meals, fast food and pop down their gullets these days Just saying Shakes are just a supplement not a replacement though I agree
