1 being the most unhealthy slob ever 5 being you're probably not going to win any awards but you do mind your health a bit 10 being a health freak/athlete/really healthy. Also what do you do to stay in shape and what health foods do you eat? Choose anywhere in 1-10 range, those figures above are a guideline.
I am a modern day hercules in all honestly! Gym swim gym swim repeat Don't drink, don't smoke, eat and drink only the bare ingredients my body needs survive and above all I don't under any circumstances try to enjoy or embrace anything fun whatsoever.
I'm about a 5 or 6. Eat only what I cook (mostly veggie with occasional chicken and fish), smoke occasionally, almost never drink alcohol, drink way too much coffee. Doing the C25K running programme as have never been particularly fit and want to start doing 5Ks regularly after new year.
Good for you matey. You'll feel better for it. I do a 5-6k every other day. I can't do high intensity running 2 days in a row, it destroys my medial collateral lol.
Similar to Kazakh, bang in the middle, 5/10. I eat very well - organic veg box every week, cook almost every night, stir-fry, salads, veg - but eat too much and lapse into bad habits too often; crisps with lunch, alcohol at least once a week, don't exercise like I'd want. I'd love to be fitter and lose about a stone, maybe two. Just have no idea or understanding of how to best go about it.
I'm probably a 6. Do the gym 3-4 times a week and try to get 2 runs in on the others. Done 4 GNR's in the last 6 years as well as countless 10k runs (Gateshead Trail is splendid by the way). My achillies heel is booze.... I like my drink so essentially use exercise to burn the booze calories off. I have a personal trainer who is now working with me on HIT sessions as I look to burn a little of my 'puppy' fat off and develop my core.
same 10. Don't drink, exercise every day. Walk a lot. Eat healthy. Ain't had any fastfood in 3 years. Youre not a 6 if you all that, youre an 8-10, maybe 11 if you kick the bum wiffing coke habit.
10? wow. I'd put myself at around an 8. You guys can pick anywhere between 1-10, you know? I try to eat a good amount of raw fruits, veg, nuts and seeds. Oats or Wheetabix with Cashew milk in the morning. Tofu and greens later on. I have one cheat afternoon a week where I drink pop, and eat crisps and have a Vegan burger and chips. I drink maybe 1-2 times a month. Just 1-2 ciders. High intensity cardio every other day. Walk for 30-60 mins every day.
at 56 years old, I would say 7.5 don't drink vegetarian always active lift weights every day 14stone solid, not much fat but high blood pressure for 90mins every match day oh! oh! your not my doctor
9 I've knocked one off because I like a cheat day and I love a drink. I'm just much more disciplined about both nowadays. With drinking I enjoy the odd glass of wine but I will only have a really big one about 1 once a month at most. I can easily go 3 months. I take all the right supplements, and train 3 times a week with a PT. I also do my own interval work depending on what style of training I'm doing at the time. Diet is A1 since started with this PT. Understand it all a lot better. Once you understand how to use carbs, and what foods are **** for you and/or full of sugar, it becomes pretty easy to regulate. I'm sure at some point I will fall off this little cycle of well being I'm on. The thing for me now is I don't really crave bad food. I love what I eat so I think once you nail that, you are gold. I know plenty people who struggle though due to being picky eaters. If you don't like veg (particularly greens) or you don't like different types of protein (whether that be fish or meat) it becomes a bit of a chore. The missus is a bit like that and it leads to binge eating. There are cheat ways round greens/protein with supplements of course but its not really ideal.
I do a vegan detox now and again to clear my system but I'm not sure how people do it all year round. I'd find that a complete head **** and I love vegetables.
It makes me ill - l throw up, I've been vegetarian since I was 3 year old I'm not vegan, and I don't stop any of the family eating meat I just can't be in the same room when it's cooking
If you look into to it m8 there's a load of great plant based recipes out there and nice tasting meat alternatives. Try linda mcartney's Vegan sausages and also her pies. Really nice. Also great vegetarian and vegan quarter pounders for cheat day. Really nice also.
I'd never do it mate. I love eating all kinds of protein, with fish, meats etc. It agrees with me and I have no ethical issues with it either. If people have their reasons for it, whether ethical or medical, I can respect it. Its just not for me, I'm a massive carnivore. I will have steak for breakie at least once a week. I use the vegan detox solely for a system refresh to rid my system of any build up of toxins, I find it the most effective. I get pretty creative with vegetables when I do it. I learnt from the very first one I did, that keeping it simple is not an option!!
