Yes but if each of the Soldado's scored 3 penalties we'd have 33 goals now!

Skin tight shirts would cut it out immediately. It worked in Rugby

True, but I think we'd get a lot of penalties! Think about it, we'd have 70 goals in all competitions (assuming keeper Soldado doesn't score)...

though only 10 from open play in the PL....

And I say tear-away jerseys, which they used to have in college, erm, girdiron. Priceless to see a defender wondering what to do with the piece of shirt in his hand...

Because ref's are scared to give soft penalties. If one team started wearing skin tight shirts, they would have such an advantage all the other teams would have to follow suit. End of problem.

Surely a gaol keeper is allowed to take penalties?

I love the idea of tear away jerseys, as you say, priceless.

If keeper Soldado was anything like striker Soldado, the ball would hardly ever cross the line.

  9. So, our 11 Soldados will never score, but neither will they concede any.

We'll finish each season on 38 points. Bottom half of mid-table, but safe from relegation.

    We'd turn into Aston Villa!

    Number 1 is soldado
    Number 2 is soldado
    Number 2 is soldado

    .....

I remember on SWOS there was an Indian team where eight of the first team were named Singh. Pity the poor commentators - if they were passing it about at the right speed, they'd be singing Travis...
