So frustrating. Lots of nearlies and no end product.

 

We are playing well and really should be winning this match.

I was hoping that Adebayor was going to take that, as the Spaniard's confidence looks poor, but he took that well. Hope it pushes him on.

Need to keep a clean sheet now.

 

We need goals today and plenty of them. One from open play for Soldado would be gold. Another for Ade would be perfect so we can finally have the chance to push on.

 

Paulinho's gone all Brazilian on us. How did that happen?

 

N'Zonzi takes a swing at Adebayor. Lucky he missed or he'd be off.

 

Paulinho with a nice run and a poor, high finish. Played really well so far.

 

Paulinho has been exhibiting some brilliant skill this half but he still can't shoot somehow….

 

Although we totally deserve to be leading on another day they could have had a penalty and ours might not have been given. However I'll take it we need all the help we can get putting the ball in the net!

 

We're playing some bloody lovely stuff, we perhaps look a little open at times but thats what you get when there is not dedicated DM on the pitch. If we keep the pressure up we should put Stoke away

Good half, but we're still short of clicking completely in front of goal. Lots of nearly chances and poor final balls, but can't be too disappointed with the display so far.
We look a bit nervous when they attack, but I think that's understandable with the changes we've made and lack of a proper holding player.

 

Cannot understandn the commentators going on and on about their "penalty" continually claiming Dawson didn't touch the ball! He clearly did! I saw it on every replay and all I could hear was "You see he doesn't touch the ball". Am I wrong?
