I am impressed by how Sherwood is going to get an alleged 1m payout to
exit in the summer. Today is showing me he cannot even take credit for the Academy
play (because nobody out there in MF is playing how the Academy do when
operating the high line) .

Yes Sherwood is partly to blame but it's everything about the club that is rotten. Seriously I can count on one hand the players I'd be bothered about keeping. The rest can all **** off. Useless ****s.

Sherwood isn't to blame. He is merely miles from being a PL manager.
And it appears he has fronted up to Levy sufficiently to get this alleged payout.

utter rubbish..... clueless all round We will be in the same boat next year when half the team leaves and we will have a group of new players and the same old excuses about getting the new guys to bed in. Don't normally comment at half time but will break the habit.....

We have no chance of competing and actually achieving anything at this level if we have to put out players who are either not up to the level (2 at least, arguably 3) and at least 2 others who show no commitment whatsoever!

Totally blame the management not the player for the disaster that is Naughton. Roses positional play is also appalling.

I have thought for some time that Dembele is a one-legged, one-trick pony - and he now appears to have lost the trick.

Vertonghen might as well leave now cos his attitude stinks on and off the pitch and he is causing confusion at the back with Kaboul.

The only real bright spot has been Soldado who has been absolutely excellent throughout.

Ps - good to see that the Ref is keeping up the standard set by his colleagues yesterday....... Absolutely appalling performance

 

The slow/sloppy passing/pressing is still there, 4 months post AVB.

If the manager is telling them to sort it, and they still ain't, then the manager
does not have the respect of the players. If he ain't telling them to sort it,
he shouldn't be manager.

I am not writing off Timmy as a future decent PL manager.
But right now, and at Spurs, certainly not.
