Agreed. Harry had his plus points, but he also had his faults. In the end, his gob, combined with other faults got him fired. We've done all this 1,000 times. It's time to move on, yet again!....
In the last PL season at QPR, there was an Arry/Valdemort Photoshop going around ( "he who must not be blamed" ) . Perhaps it needs to be reposted.
That's the most I can hope for from you, but I know that's your way of admitting to once being a big Redknapp fan!
Anyway moving back to the Sherwood rumours. Express had a link on Google which I clicked but page had been removed. Must be rumours and papers pulling the story as they can't run news based on Twitter rumours!
But Rodgers believes that would be a mistake and says Sherwood just needs more time to get the best out of Tottenham's expensively assembled squad. Speaking after the game, he said: "Tottenham have got some outstanding players, it's a great club and obviously I hope Tim [Sherwood] gets the time to put his ideas in place and if they can allow him to do that I'm sure they'll do very well."
"But Rodgers believes that would be a mistake and says Sherwood just needs more time to get the best out of Tottenham's expensively assembled squad." On the comment about the squad, he is speaking directly from experience.
I imagine he's really keen on Spurs improving... Platitudes pure and simple. Just some words to fill dead air.
He actually believes that to be the case as Rodgers turned us down due to the frequency we sack managers and Rodgers looks at our current squad and knows a manager has to be left alone and given time to get his ideas across so what he says is correct, just he's showing respect to a fellow manager. Not that I'm saying Sherwood is the man, but if we didn't sack managers so frequently then What's happening at Liverpool could have been happening with us.
" then What's happening at Liverpool could have been happening with us." Brenda has spent 98m on transfers doing his time. So we've done that bit, no.
That has nothing to do with the fact Rodgers is becoming an outstanding coach and man manager who has created an exciting Liverpool team based around his management. Out of the players he signed, Coutinho and Sturridge are outstanding while the rest have been hit and miss yet Wenger, fergie and Mourinho regularly signed duds but their man management skills got the best out of the squad just like Rodgers is doing and I hope they win the League.
"That has nothing to do with the fact Rodgers is becoming an outstanding coach and man manager who has created an exciting Liverpool team based around his management." And nothing to do with the frequency at which Levy sacks managers.
Rodgers turned down the chance to be our manager due to the frequency we sack managers. That's not up for debate as it's a fact.
It amazes me that anybody listens to the garbage that is sprayed around on Twatter, and the like. All these rumours and "ITK's" spreading their fantasies around. Bunch of sad sacks who should get a life!.. As to the comments of Rodgers, I can see that he's correct in saying that we fire managers too often. But then if we didn't have an idiot constantly appointing the wrong ones, it might not have happened so frequently.
I'm sure there are good aspects of Twitter like you see the interaction on BBC and TV shows but as usual the general twats turn it into nothing more then a place to spread lies/rumours.
"Rodgers turned down the chance to be our manager due to the frequency we sack managers. That's not up for debate as it's a fact." And yet that "fact" has no bearing on whether Sherwood will make the grade. Otherwise by definition AVB should not have been sacked. He's not called Brenton Rogers for nothing.
The point was we missed out on a top young manager due to the frequency we sack managers as underlined by Rodgers turning us down. That's it. Nothing else.
