I certainly don't think you're 9-0 better than us. The differences are, Suarez. Plus you have a manager who actually knows what he's doing!..

i would think shouting and the like would not be particularly unusual after a game and not particularly newsworthy. Any actual interesting gossip from the dressing room would have to come from inside i think

  3. Manager reaction- Liverpool 4-0 Tottenham
Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood: "The game was pretty much finished after two mistakes early on. They took a lot of belief from that and went from strength to strength.

"We were beaten by better side. It was a shame our mistakes got punished the way we did."

On taking only one point against teams in the top four: "It is not good. Perhaps is is a belief thing - a lot of these teams are better than us. We don't have opportunity to put it right but we owe it to ourselves to get maximum points from our last six games."

The rumour is that Sherwood punched a player. You can't leak that from earwigging outside the door

But that's the point I'm trying to make - we need someone who is well above average to work the miracle of getting us permanently into the top four and then being title contenders with the resources we have. I think that's essentially Levy's plan: make the club gradually stronger by good management, player trading etc and try to get a great manager to make the final difference. the first part of the plan is going pretty well, the second part, not so much.

On a different point - my wife is watching the tennis. The commentator had just said - its important to win the first set as the player who wins the first set more often goes on to win the match. A better example of confusing an outcome with a cause could hardly be found. I'd expect the player who won the first set to win more than 3/4 of the time.

Entirely agree, I've been saying it for ages. Unfortunately, I think it's unlikely to happen.

Twits saying Rose or Kaboul. I smell bullshit but i'm not ruling it out, this is Spurs.

For instance, surely Kaboul would just destroy Sherwood if it was him

Sounds pretty unlikely, but it'll probably cost him a million quid if it's true. No compensation necessary for a sacking off the back of that.

    Just Suarez?

Not Sterling (MOTM) Couts, Gerrard, Sturridge, Henderson or Flanno then?

We're winning because we're a good TEAM! Who are playing for each other.

    Not because of individuals.

    Polar opposite to your lot.

Yes true, and who would be responsible for getting them to play as a team?...

"We're winning because we're a good TEAM! Who are playing for each other."

And the four previous seasons (and now we finally come to it) ...

Not being funny, but the fact that you changed so much of your team last year is why you are in this position. Wholesale changes wanted again? Selling players off form is like selling shares when they are low

Tis a factor. But not the primary reason.

If true, I would find it quite amusing that two managers got the boot after a pasting by the mighty Liverpool <laugh>

Seems the rumours are mounting that Sherwood has been sacked for punching a player. So violent conduct would be the obvious reason if this is true.
