They may have carried on but it also requires 100% commitment to play at this level and we were well short of that. Therefore that equates to uninterested.
"Tim hasn't made any comments to the media yet." What to say ?? Comedy defending (again) . No graft in MF for much of the game (again) .
Liverpool had the S.A.S. We had the W.A.N.K.E.R.S. Walker Adebayor Naughton Kaboul Eriksen Rose Soldado Tim should only take half the blame today.
Only two of our player's names start with vowels... If Sherwood had told our players to ball watch, hang back on 50/50 challenges, and pass to the red players, then sure, all the blame sits with him.
The clubs he joined like Southampton/QPR where all virtually relegated. If you want to look at his career overall and call him "average" then compared to great managers like Fergie or Mourinho then yes but if you look at Redknapps career in terms of the expectations of each club he has been at for a lengthy period then hes been far from average. You're only focusing on his negative points, after he has been at a club for a long period through his good management.
Don't think the players should be got at for not putting in enough effort....There just not very good.... The only players from that starting line-up that should still be at the club after the summer are Loris, Vetonghen, Kabul (even tho he was **** today), eriksen and mabey lennon....just about....
Talent wise, yes. Attitude wise, no. Couldn't get off the pitch quick enough. In recent weeks/ months he's actually been very poor so the talent wise topic could be up for debate also.
Would explain the lack of official comment post-match. Hope it's not the case just yet: cannot see any logic unless the longer term option is immediately available. Hoddle anyone.....
There were some comments made by him on the BBC feed but not much. Would link in the Van Gaal claims made by Guillit if Sherwood has been sacked.
Who's left to carry the can for the next six weeks? Freund needs to be swept out the door this summer, and Baldini's the main reason our squad's so unbalanced to begin with.
Credit to Liverpool. Two games, two coaches and almost identical results means there's a huge gulf in class between the two teams, whatever the particulars. I can only hope the team watches the second goal over and over again. Our tendency to backpass to the last defender or the GK has been sussed out. The good teams just hang around the last player back and wait for the gifts to arrive. While I would hope this is not the case, It's almost as if Sherwood didn't play the high line at first not because he recognized it was the wrong tactic for this team against most opponents, but because he didn't know what it was. Once someone explained it to him, he acquired the fanatacism of a new convert.
If he has gone, this makes an even bigger mockery of our club after this season's ridiculous turn of events, starting with the Bale sale. Levy should go with him to sign on.
who is leaking the info of fights in the dressing room, if that is true? Sherwood spoke to the press, the vid is on the bbc website
We are in a right mess, uncertainty over the manager, players that no longer give a toss, no belief, no direction or apparent game plan. We have players with no desire or motivation and stinking attitudes, they seem to believe that it is all change in the summer anyway and have stopped giving 100%, like Vertonghen, Rose and Lennon for eg. Can`t wait for the season to be over.
