On previous reputation Eto and Torres where both viewed as world class at various points but if we're talking present day then Adebayor is quite clearly the best striker at any London club. Although Adebayor has never had back to back seasons of performing at a high level so he will never fulfil his targets in football........ Unless the main one was to help his charity grow and be viewed as a king in his homeland

Not too sure what the underlying meaning is tbh. He's a difficult character to read that Sherwood, got a real poker face, if he feels he deserves more praise for what he's achieved....why bemoan the 'hand he's dealt' later in the piece. A parked bus with open doors, is that not how you'd describe Cardiff and Fulhams defences!...worrying comment or BS, you never know with him.
I take it to mean that we should appreciate the fact that he has picked up a dealt hand and...........dealt with it! I think a lot of us do appreciate his efforts and I think the media have given him a fairly easy ride so far. That team selection looks an absolutely mess to me. Good luck to Sherwood if it works, but I'm struggling to even work out who's supposed to be playing where. I think that Huddlefro might have it right with a 5-4-1. Lloris; Walker, Kaboul, Dawson, Vertonghen, Naughton; Lennon, Sandro, Bentaleb, Sigurdsson; Adebayor. Trying to deal with their widemen cutting in by playing a wrongfooted fullback down the left, perhaps? At least he's got options to change it, but I'm not impressed.
