    Ozil reminds me of Vertonghen.

An absolute class act and when the team is on form, they're usually one of the frontrunners behind the team's good fortunes, yet when things are going sour, they show the worst attitude and are arguably the worst player on the pitch.

You knew that Ozil would probably have the game of his life at the Lane, so probably just as well he's injured. I still have zero confidence that we'll get a result though. Watching us keel over against all the "big teams" this season has been absolute torture.

I think this is probably the least anticipated NLD in years. Usually there's been banter between both clubs weeks before we face each other leading up to a much anticipated derby between two fierce rivals. A shame as this is "the game" both teams look out for when fixtures are announced and yet so far, you'd think it's just another ordinary Prem game on a weekend that'll be forgotten quickly after the final whistle.

I don't think I can bare another heavy defeat. In fact any sort of defeat will just send me over the top! Lol.

I feel for you. I'll be on holiday, otherwise i'd be the same :)
Can't wait, i'll probably stream the game, and if its going badly just turn off and forget it ever happened.

    Lucky bastard.

I'll be going to it... So if we do indeed lose, the Bell & Hare's beer pumps will be going dry that evening.

Though if we win, the Bell & Hare's beer pumps will be going dry that evening <laugh>

"i'll probably stream the game, and if its going badly just turn off and forget it ever happened."

Worst one for me was an international flight in early 2011.
We were in "phones off" mode but the flight entertainment sys was still on.
The Sky Sports text feed was showing Spurs 1-0 up with 15 mins to go.
Then they went into taxi mode and I spend 90 mins that night and some of the
local arrival time desperate to know what the FT score was. :( :)

It's a personal weakness that I can only really dread one impending disaster at a time. But once I'm done getting shattered by the Benfica game, I'll be very excited at the prospect of getting mullered yet again by a top four club.

Please don't tell me you'll go home sober if it's a draw.

I'm just trying my best at not to think about the NLD game, I hope that the more I ignore it the less disappointed I'll be if the outcome is a negative one.

Haha, I was just looking for excuses to drink anyway. :D

That was where my Mum, Aunties and Uncles used to drink before and after a game.
