hope moses starts as i don't want him any where near the team for the derby.

is most of our injured players back at end of this month? just trying to find reasons why we don't seem to be doing much in the window.

    -------------Gerrard-----Alberto---------

    ------------------Henderson--------------

    Moses-------------Aspas----------------Ibe

could swap Smith and flanno around and have flanno rb instead of kelly, might have to after 10 mins gone lol

anyone think this is the sort of lineup we might see? obviously some of the big guns will be on the bench just in case, but i am guessing brendan wont want to risk too many of them as derby coming up and we are ****ed with injuries at the moment.

cb is a worry as we dont have any fit do we, and not sure if we want to risk the youngsters for that position anyway.

It will be too soon for Flanagan I think. If we put that team out, we will be humiliated going into the Derby next week.

  3. That looks reasonable to me bar Gerrard, I want us to rest him and save him for the Derby.

Don't think we have much choice G, Allen and Lucas both injured. God we need another midfielder..

  5. Suarez will play so just move Hendo back. Failing that, Brod will bring a youngster in. playing Gerrard twice in two days is asking for trouble

did think that as well g,

but i already put Alberto in who is not very experienced, and couldn't think of anyone who could go in there, or the ones who could are on loan i think.

Rossitier an option?, just worried having 2 very inexperienced players for that position.

god we are ****ed with injuries!

  7. As I said, move Hendo back to play alongside him. Just need to fill the hole then which isn't such an important area. Brod as told us he can't stop Suarez from playing so I expect to see him on the pitch. Other than that, Coutinho could play there.

Isn't Alberto a CAM/SS? I'll stick my neck out here and say if Gerrard isn't playing we'll lose.

    what about on that basis

    ------------------jones-----------------

    --kelly------Skrts-----Toure-------flanno--

    -------------hendo-----Alberto---------

    ------------------??????--------------

    Moses-------------luis----------------Ibe/aspas

still a problem area whatever the lineup, Sinclair who is a forward an option for that position, or Ibe,moses etc.

we dont want to play Coutinho unless we really have to same as sterling and sturridge.

Id put counts in the no 10 role, he hasn't played a great deal, only 45 against villa i think recently. If he can get a bit of space create some chances and god forbid score i think it may give his confidence a timely boost.

I wouldn't have stevie anywhere near the starting 11 but you never know with our injuries.

This could be an ideal moment for either Aspas or Moses to finally show a tiny bit of quality.

  14. I was going by the above line-up <ok>

  15. That's the bit I'm getting at but Gerrard is in there too as number one priority. I don't think we can not play all of them so I'd stick Coutinho in.

I think people are underestimating Bournemouth here - If we play a disjointed team like some have said, they will beat us.

We need to play our strongest 11 (or as close to it as possible due to injuries) to get a comfortable result.

Anyway I'm off, catch you later <ok>

Personally I think we need to put out a strong line-up, cup games away from home are very difficult no matter who you play against.

Of course squad rotation would be nice, but right now we just have to face the music.. Half our first team is injured so we can't afford to stick the youngsters in. I'd line up something like this.

    -----------Jones--------------
    Kelly---Toure--Skrtle---Cissikho
    -------Hendo--Gerrard---------
    --Moses---Alberto----Aspas---
    -----------Suarez------------

Left Coutinho and Sterling out as we'll need them fresh for Tuesday. Would of liked Hendo and Gerrard to be rested too but needs must.

I'd take no injuries and a replay

An a team beginning with the letter B.

Teams get knocked out of this cup for not taking the opposition seriously I agree we should start with a strong team and take key players off if we have a strong lead.
