sorry to post a political thread but there is nowt left to do for a bit. i am wondering if the about turn on the pasty tax could in anyway be connected with a mr samway of samway brothers donating recently £100000 to the tory pary. oh yes the samway brothers of leicestershire own ginsters pasties of cornwall. coincidence?

secondly bakers, cafe takeaways have now been given carte blanche to add 15p to every pasty sold hot or cold. may i suggest when buying a takeaway pasty you ask for a vat receipt. that may sort the wheat from the chaff.

oh my suspicious mind. floreat salopia, floreat cold pasties. doo av a pasty m'dear there's hansome , as they say down here

I did think about whether they will drop the prices back down again, if they were inforced in the first place
