I had egg fried rice last night but I still haven't mastered the technique like your takeaway/restaurant but I'll keep trying,hth.

I make it pretty adequately. Cook rice and put in fridge, recipe recommends mix of long grain and basmati. Make a thin omelette then bash it into bits also put in fridge. Very hot oil sesame or peanut to finish it off.

Yeah do the cold rice thing and then try to blend the egg in while cooking it but I like your method and will give a go :emoticon-0148-yes:
