Love the Olympics. Watch a load of sports I’d usually have no interest in. A lot of the competitors are pretty regular folk too.

A modern pentathlon competitor who’s horse (they don’t bring their own) just decided it wasn’t having any of it and completely ****ed the woman’s chance of a gold medal. She then lost her **** and whipped the animal and it all got a bit fruity. Worth a watch, it’s quite funny until the whipping bit.

The Olympics ended for me when the Latvian Women's Beach Volleyball team went out in the semi finals.
 
Ive been watching some of it, but its hard this year cos of the time difference.

Team GB are doing great, 4th I think, maybe 5th

Nice story i read about a Jamaican athlete who got on a bus to the wrong venue, he couldn't use the Olympic cars because they were all booked and had nothing but his kit and some small change on him, a volunteer gave him the cab fare to get to the correct venue and he went and won a gold medal, the next day he went back to find the woman to thank her and show her his medal and give her her money back for the cab.
