See what you mean, but in the case of Tennis and Golf, for instance, do you want proper top level sportsmen/women, or people who have a knock about down the local park/course? So, you can have the actual fastest man/rower/jumper/swimmer on the planet, and then you got Kathleen and Jeff competing at the golf playing off 10!
I think the whole thing would be better with randomly selected people given six months to learn the sport.
