Or Wembley, or the Emirates, or even Twickenham (that's London isn't it?)

It's an U23 tournament with I think 3 over age players allowed in the team, so I'd hazard a guess at 2 of the sides in this weeks European U21 Championships, an African team and a South American team in the semis.

The whole olympic ticket allocation is a farce. I put in for reasonable tickets over three days, Rowing, Tennis, then Hockey and Boxing the last day of our trip, none medal events. Picked 3-4 price brackets per event, didnt get one, in fact dont personally know anyone who got a single ticket!
To add insult to all those who didnt get a ticket they reveal today that around 55% didnt get any tickets, yet they still have hundreds of thousands to sell still! What an absolute joke.
I have now booked a night at Ibis Heathrow and boxing tickets for £200 for me and the missus through Thomas Cook. The ticket band is E so that means I am paying £160 for a night in a Ibis hotel, but apparently all hotels are not increasing there prices!! Even the packages are wierd set ups, look at OLMs, Athletics, Rowing and Volleyball, who put those three events together? One offer on Thomas Cook is table tennis and Volleyball for £500!!!
I love the olympics and am glad we have it, and definately want to experience at least one event (hence paying slightly over odds) and will look to get more tickets when the second chance thing runs, but the whole thing just goes to show how poorly we run things here in the UK, how the rich are looked after (how else could you afford to have a chance in the ticket lottery).

The problem is that the vast majority of the second round tickets will be for qualifying sessions. Whoopdef*kingdo!

I find it odd that there were 1.8m people with 20m applications for 6.6m tickets. 55% (990,000) got nothing meaning that 45% (810,000) got the vast majority of 6.6m tickets, roughly 8 each. I guess if people were applying for 4 tickets at a time that might not be far off. I got 4 tickets from the 16 I applied for, although probably the 4 that didn't go to ballot.

What a load of bilge! The whole shebang has nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with sport or, if it does, it's by-the-way. It's all to do with ego and money.

It's a load of ****e. People are being treated like fools and fed on a diet of bread and circuses. (5-ring circuses at that).

    God save us all!
