Living in Wimborne has rather spoilt any anticipation as we've had 16 weeks of total disruption due to the A31 being "upgraded" so rich buggers can get to Weymouth for the boaty bits. Anyone with a sense or adventure (or suicidal) may like to try the Canford Bottom (yes I know bottom is funny) roundabout which now has 72 sets of traffic lights! And I get strange wobbly feelings when I watch team GBR playing footy, is this normal?

I hate to tell you guys, but although it probably won't affect the Olympics, the rule about wearing a bikini in Beach Volleyball has been rescinded. In future events the girls will be able to choose more suitable attire. Shame<laugh>

Bah! - spoilsports. I took my son and his pals to see WWF wrestling a few years ago - it was the longest 3 hrs of my life, until the ladies `bra and panties` contest came on. I shall lobby Lord Coe for its inclusion in the next Olympics.

Love the Olympics or not, we are going to be swamped with its media attention until it is all over, at the expense of everything else, hopefully Saint will be quietly improving during that period and we may surprise a few people when the real event starts.
