Anyone notice that the New Zealand cyclist was called Jack Bauer? Wonder what his shirt number was, 24 maybe?
Yep, he's certainly done himself proud. As did the British lads in the gymnastics. Thomas was probably one mistake away from a medal, but still both of them are the best performance by a British gymnast in the All around (the blue riband event) since 1908 I think. Lets hope for some more golds tomorrow. I don't care where we finish in the table (4th would be nice) as long as we finish above the French to stop Hollande from being so cocky. Beating the Aussies would be nice as well, but that might be too low a target
Thomas looks huge for a gymnast, yet he has a great flair to him. Hopefully he keeps developing and he can get more medals in Rio. We're doing well in the pool tonight too
Well done Wiggo!Such a great guy he is, I'm really happy that he won Le tour de France and a gold medal at the Olympics!Go Team GB!
Talking of Volleyball, I wasn't as keen for it as I was for beach volleyball as the rallies seemed to be so much shorter, but that last rally just shows I was wrong!
We've got a Brit leading the shooting, and two pairs in the Men's C2, on top of the Judo athlete in the 78kg final
TWO GOLDS IN TWO MINUTES!!! C2 and Double trap shooting. And a silver in the C2! And a guaranteed silver in judo! And we've still got cycling to come! Team GB and well and truly up and running now!
