Pity we won Bronze the way we did. If we had just got that first then big celebration. Having a silver taken away tinges it with slight disappointment (for me anyway).

The team looked thrilled though..huge achievement for British Gymnastics. The team probably accept that the Japanese had been scored wrongly and they therefore accept the result. I was annoyed though!!!

Oh yeah, i'm sure the team are still thrilled, but there must surely be a bit of disappointment. Mainly I was thinking about my own feelings, and probably some of the crowd. But there we go, the judges looked at the tape and admitted they got the decision wrong, which is what we're all crying out for in football.

I'd like to see us protest that gymnastics rescoring. The japanese guy just fell off and luckily landed on his feet.

Tancock misses out on a medal as well in a close race. GB swimming is a bit like French tennis. Pretty good strength in depth, but lacking in really big stars who are going to consistently challenge. Still, the progress since ten years ago is very good.

Is anyone else finding Lineker as a host excrutiatingly embarrassing?

Thorpe is also finding his weak attempts at humour tiresome.

GB ladies volleyball team had a brilliant match last night, managed to win 3-2 in the end. Went on until 1am ish. First ever Olympic win for them! Well done ladies.

Volleyball was exciting but I went to bed at 2.1 down as it was so late. Never expected them to have pulled it back. Well done. Found basketball a bit boring, but volleyball is a great game.

Some medal chances today (especially in the equestrian) but tomorrow is the big day. If we still have no golds in 48 hours we can start getting worried. If we get to Saturday with no Golds it's time to emigrate.
