Ben Johnson's mates won the cycling.

We did good in swimming and rowing.

    Hurrah!

We're getting hammered by the Aussie's in basketball though. :( Come on GB! 4 points in a row, the come back is on!

Ohhhh. If we can reduce the lead to ten points or less by half time, that would be good.

USA v Australia women's beach volleyball has just started. They're wearing long sleeved suits so don't all rush at once.

See the reason I like beach volleyball is nothing to do with clothing. I just love the action, the dives, the 'spikes' or whatever they're called, the net defenses if that's even a term.....

Me too, it's one of my favourite sports. I used to play quite a lot of the normal version but I'm short :( The atmosphere at horse guards has sounded really good as well.

Let's hope for a medal today. Good chance in both swimming and rowing so fingers crossed. Maybe Corky will get a run out this evening too?

In the good old days, BBC decided what we should watch and we were all content. Now we have to make decisions...so much choice!

I still just stick with whatevers on BBC. Not watching much at the moment though because i'm preparing for my driving theory test on Wednesday. 5 Live are doing quite a good job of coverage anyway, and the Womens beach volleyball is far better in my imagination (to give you an idea, in my mind Carmen Electra is playing Pamela Anderson in her baywatch days).

    Hi Fran how was Lisbon?

I agree there is now almost too much choice. BBC are committed to showing any Brit medal chance live though so you can't go far wrong if you stick with BBC1.

Generally sticking with BBC as best bet not to miss anything. As you say, they won't miss any medal chances (if we get any<wah>).

Lisbon was lovely with great weather. Absolutely exhausted though...they've never heard of flat streets...needed crampons on some of them:)

The Dutch probably think a Crampon has something to do with the red light district...
