Probably not, it is in Welsh after all and I think the only Welsh speaker in the Wales team is Ramsay (although plenty of non-Welsh speakers obviously know the anthem).
Ah yes he is, shouldn't have forgotten him, my girlfriend was childhood friends with him! My stat must be out of date
Just watched first half of GB vs Senegal. My first thought is that that kit is terrible. Also why is it always "Team GB"? What's wrong with just "Great Britain"? And why do the Olympics always take place in a city? Last year it was Bejing. This year London, yet the football takes place at grounds around Britain, the equestirian events take place out side of London, the sailing outside of London on the coast. The football is rubbish by the way it's like watching Brighton back at the Withdean Stadium, slow.
If you mean, why are Olympics always named after a city, it's just convention, and latterly it is marketing, with the excuse that it is convention. As far as the football is concerned I actually find the play quite refreshing. Although it is to a lower standard, the players don't all look as if they have a red hot poker stuck up their rear ends, especially GB.
You don't understand mate. The Brighton you saw last season, compared to how they used to be, really not that bad. I saw one game at the Withdean, it cost me £25 for a ticket. You then sit a good 15 feet away from the pitch because of the running track. No atmosphere because there's nothing resembling a roof to keep the sound in. And terrible football, better off watching the under 12s at the local park on a Sunday morning. I vowed never to go to Withdean again after that.
