Oh fair enough, I wasn't really watching. Either way, it was during the National Anthem so should show a bit of respect. Would they boo during a minutes silence if the camara panned to Suarez as well?
Although the Uruguay fans have been smart: Banner stating "boo if you're scared of Suarez" Like that one.
And for the 4th time today I've heard a BBC commentator start a Suarez compliment with "whatever you think of him" like they are almost apologising for mentioning his name.
This match has me switching back & forth to the swimming which is never a good sign. Bring back the ladies team: much better footballing viewing
Just seen Spain drew 0-0 with Morocco to go with two 1-0 loses against Japan & Honduras. Guess they can't win everything!
Sturridge has been poor. Trying to do too much and take someone on when he should just be playing a simple pass. Actually been quite impressed with Allen. Wasn't too keen on him before but he does keep possession well and receives the ball in dangerous areas and is comfortable with it there - handy when trying to pass out from the back rather than just lumping it forward. Still think £15mil is a bit steep, if he was Spanish/French he'd only be worth about £8-10mil I reckon.
yes allen has had a good game, I agree we wont get £15 million for him as even most jacks dont think he is worth that much this season, but he is young and if we get his release target of £10 million + add ons then i think we cant complain with that. The lad deserves his chance to play for a big club and even though i would be sad to see him go i can understand it......
Uruguay looked frustrated, GB dominated possession for long periods. Hopefully we will see this next season.
