Once again it was clearly moyes' fault. The line up ffs. Insane. The players were dire, no argument there. The line upbwas worse, not a single attacking threat from midfield.
I really doubt the Glazers are going let Moyes loose with 300m to spend in one summer!! That's a crazy amount in one summer!! 100m would probably do it. You dont have to buy the best player in the world for each position. Maybe 1 or 2 marquee signings, and maybe 3 or 4 decent ones, get the scouts doing their jobs and find some hidden gems.

Maybe we can turn it around in the second leg but regardless, this result was diabolical. Some of the players had absolute nightmares and Moyes really needs to make some big decisions. Proving that he has a plan B in a match would be rather nice, or even that he can inspire the players to implement plan A properly. I'm all for giving the guy a chance but we looked like amateurs at times, scared of the ball and giving it away time after time. How can we go from league champions to this in 8 months? I shudder to think what one of the really good european teams would have done to us... We need to get rid of the unmotivated players in the summer and invest big (unfortunately). I hope Moyes proves to be the right guy for the job but he has a lot to prove, he really needs to buck up his ideas and implement an effective gameplan, inspire the players and invest wisely in the summer. Well we do need 300m if Moyes is to stay, just sack him and bring someone credible and exciting and we could do with less than half of that.
UIR, I will be the first say Moyes is doing **** in terms of motivation, training and being too defensive. But seriously, if you cannot see that Uniteds squad is sorely lacking the quality to go far in a competition like the CL, then you need specsavers bud
I am not saying he will get £300m in one summer. If he gets £100m this summer then it will take much longer. The players have gone and wahtever confidence they had is lost.
