I agree we have issues, but last year's Chelsea team had no business winning the CL so we should strive to win it as well, even if we probably won't.
This is where i disagree. They had the quality, experience and a winning mentality to win the Champions league. Yes i'm no fan of them and their negative kind of football they played to win it. But they most certainly had it to win it.
There is a topic on the Chavski board about how they didn't deserve t go out of the competition. A couple of them are claiming that they did better than Arsenal in the group stages - despite having gone out of the competition and us qualifying with a game to go!
Well they can **** off, many other teams did better than Chelsea last season in the UCL, yet Chelsea still won the damn thing, so they're the last fans to talking about others being lucky, or playing poor yet still progressing. Though having said that, they do have a point, :-D, but shows they're quite thick and hypocritical in making it.
It wasn't. The problems we are having are not down to individual performances Coquelin's, Ramsey's or anyone else. We are just not getting the combination team play going forward that we have been used to. The timing is off, the understanding is off, and we have lost the telepathy that we have taken for granted over the last so many years. Perhaps we have just added too many key players this year and adding Cazorla/Podolski/Giroud all together was just too many at once, particularly with Wilshere coming back as well. We lost that continuity that we have always had.
