Not as a right-back though. People forget Martin is a RB. He never wanted to play CB. He had to cover, and now he's seen as someone who can play CB. So is put there. He always said to me, "I'm not a CB, I don't enjoy playing CB. If I'm told to play a position I'll play it and try my best" I'll always remember that.

So why not play Martin at right back (yikes) and give Turner and Godfrey in the middle!

I've always really respected Russ. He has been slagged off so much. But so often he's playing in a position he knows he isn't a natural at. He's now having to play that for Scotland too now, coz he's been used there for Norwich. He just gets on with it, and tries his best. You never hear him moan to the press or moan after a game: "well I'm playing CB again.....And I'm not a CB..."

He takes a lot of sh*t, and never rants at the manager or fans that boo him.

He is shyte! Time is over.

Or play him in his proper position in a proper formation.

Slow clumsy curmudgeonly Turner is class because he hasn't played in the first team (because he isn't good enough), but Martin playing out of position is a shyte player.

Once again, have you seen him play recently? Martin gives away too many goals, he's captain but not a leader, gets out of position far to often.

Of the two I'd rather we kept Olsson and Brady, despite his crap form this season, should net us more cash.
Which is presumably the only funding we'll have to sort out defence and attack during January <yikes>
I hope the club place a more sensible valuation figure on him this time, I seem to recall £20m quoted last summer! On this season's form, they'd be doing well to get £2m for him :emoticon-0106-cryin
