I wasn’t talking about that though, that’s a difference of opinion btw.
It’s more about the legal system and how the chosen charge doesn’t allow for nuance. So for example, they went for 1st degree murder for one of the victims but it should be within the remit of the jury to find him innocent of murder and guilty of manslaughter or a lesser murder charge, but it’s seemingly an all or nothing gig.
