Maybe they're just casting the actors on their ability to act? You know, like pretending to be someone you're not, which is what actors do.

Before lockdown I used to make regular trips to Shakespeare's Globe, on the South Bank on London. Quite a few of the actors are black, including the one playing Henry V in one production. But so ****ing what? what matters with Shakespeare, is can the actor deliver the lines with conviction.

Let's put it another way. If you're pointing at the stage, or at your telly, outraged that some of the actors are black, chances are you're some kind of ****.

If you could digest simple facts, you’d have seen he posted about it being laughable to see black faces in a C16th drama about Mary Queen of Scots. Only it isn’t. I never made any further comment about the detail of the chosen characters.
