    I'm just wondering how many Rolls Royce owners in China and the USA care that the current Chief Executive is a German, Torsten Müller-Ötvös. Like wise I wonder how many customers in those markets care that it has German owners and cared when production moved from Crewe to Chicheste/Goodwood (likewise I wonder how many would care if it moved from Chichester to Hamburg as long as the product retained the same quality)

    Production didn't move from Crewe to Chichester,they built a new Factory building copies,IMO a cheaper inferior car,the original Rolls Royces became Bentleys and sells more cars than ever,lots obviously didn't move with the name.

    Bentley did indeed sell more. I guess thats because BMW the German company owns Rolls Royce. Remind me who owns Bentley?

    They tried to make a high end car, Phaeton, and had to sell it at a loss just to shift them.
