I can sense a collective intake of breath among the forum and mod membership. I have said my piece and am leaving this until the subject matter moves on.
That’s an interesting debate in itself. Like most (I suspect) I have friends and family of all political persuasions. But sometimes you meet likeable characters in life who you find hold views or have values you’re genuinely uncomfortable with. Can you completely disassociate the value from the persona?
within reason yes. Would I be drinking with Tommy Robinson or Katie Hopkins? No David Cameron or Boris Johnson? Possibly yes. Hell I even had a drink with Alex Ferguson in a lounge at Scumchester Airport once upon a time.
First of all, Mayhar Tousi is a respected SM journalist/presenter, he does look at both sides but also concentrates on the inevitable. If you watched the whole video you'll find a lot of people were against her hate speech laws, and why, including the United Nations. So, if Mahya is giving out his extreme views, so are all those who oppose Nicola fish faces new freedom of speech laws, including the United Nations. Only a wannabe dictator, or a dictator would limit free speech (dictatorship) or do away with it altogether. Anjem Choudary is a Muslim who hates everything western and not bowing down to Allah. He wants to destroy and conquer UK and the Western World. Those who killed Lee Rigby were staunch followers of Choudary, and Choudary didn't bat an eyelid. He's a so called racist who hates white people and non Allah worshippers (infidels) and he hates Tommy Robinson............goooooo Tommy.,
Do you ever read the room or consider any tone apart from skin tone? I have reason to possibly dislike Ristac (you are replying to him) but I would never seek to tell him how to think and what to do as you appear to be doing here. On a previous point. Being a moderator here is not a job they do it out of their own spare time. Perhaps if you can’t adapt to be more tolerant it’s you that needs to consider moving on? sorry Ristac for butting in but this is too important to walk past. To be clear `I have an opinion that people holding the extreme views you do should be allowed nowhere near our football club or football forums associated with it.
Unlike you he at least bought a round! Well he would have if it hasn’t been a free bar. He did ask the barman for them.
I don't completely agree with that comment, Chips. You can have any opinion you want, but it shouldn't clash with your belief in your footy team or club.
You don’t agree that I can have an opinion? I didn’t make a comment I said what MY opinion was. I think that is how debate works?
