Now here's a nice Irish building, they know how to build do the irish. https://knightstemplarinternational...ation-ireland-resistance-leader-speaks-video/
Welcome back Chippy, you can see my posts/comments..... May is a remoaner, she didn't want to leave but, I would not be surprised if there may be an undertable arrangement with her from some, or someone in the EU, we saw it with Blair. Had May signed the deal, there would've been the biggest uproar she's ever seen, and she would've signed her own death warrant. May was prepared to stick the knife into the NI and the UK people who voted out. She won't last must longer, thank God for the DUP. Don't be surprised if she turns up with a job in the EU or Blairs organisation somewhere....
You give her too much credit. She is floundering from one position to another with only day to day survival of her government as the priority. Proof of her lack of vision, no election called (taking months out of time for Brexit talks), no minority government, and no need for the DUP to prop her up and no scuppered deal. Not for one second was that planned, but as a remainer I am pleased she is so clueless.
I think it’s all going rather well We have now reached the perfect position where we are being governed by a handful of ‘ultra reasonable’ DUP MPs What’s not to like?
I think I might wear a bowler hat, orange sash and big drum at a future meet up. Olof must be pleased with events...
Interesting version of events in this article that seems to suggest that voters and politicians in Ireland have been played by the EU and been forced to keep voting in referendums until the EU gets the result it wants and yet fails to point out that in a recent poll 88% of Irish people think Ireland should remain in the EU. I'm guessing the last sentence 'With each passing day I grow happier and happier that I voted for Brexit.' might have a baring on that.
Sorry struggling to see the point of this in terms of Brexit beyond some racist dog-whistling bullshit? Was Theresa May about to make an agreement on the border issue and then she got a call from Arlene Foster telling her that there was a mosque in Dublin and suddenly all bets were off?
What could be better than a party who only won a third of the votes in Northern Ireland and 0.9% of the total UK vote share in the last election deciding that they would rather risk delaying/destroying any deal that would advance to trade talks as they will not accept any form of regulatory divergence which separates Northern Ireland economically or politically from the rest of the United Kingdom.* *Except for abortion and gay marriage.
Dont take the views of Brendan O'Neill, whoever he is, as typical. Ireland is doing fine and will continue to do so. Anyone can write a blog these days you know
