Right well last time Parliament was running Labour were spouting how many votes the Conservatives had lost, let's see how it goes this time I'm sure Jimmy Crankie who wanted Boris to resign every time he lost a vote, will do the right thing and go, won't she.
You lot are so up yourselves, as if anybody cared if the UK was a part of Russia, USA, China or sank in the North Sea without a trace all by itself or better still the mid atlantic.
The scientific consensus has been overstated. It depends on how they measure it. The formula has been to analyse peer reviewed papers that mention global climate change and see which side of the fence they fall. The current accepted consensus is between 80-90%. This is at any level, so if an article stated that man was a contributing factor in global climate change, it would be in the consensus. That consensus should be 100% because obviously man is contributing, that's not the question. The question is by how much and is it catastrophic. The IPCC predictions say that we could reach +3°C by 2100. Would this be catastrophic? Since 1850 the temperature has increased 1°C along with the population increasing from 1 billion to 7 billion so I'm skeptical about it rising three times that in 80 years given the way technology has allowed us to reduce our impact on the planet. My biggest problem is that money is thrown at incredibly uneconomic 'solutions' like solar and wind because the green lobby don't like nuclear. Money should be invested in fusion power, for example, but it isn't. You've got panic spending on things that have no chance of replacing what we have now rather than technologies that have a chance of actually making a difference. I believe that whatever either we have done or has occurred naturally is going to happen. Changing the climate takes centuries. Yes, cut carbon emissions, as we already do, we've cut them by over 50% since 1990, but let's look at the issue logically and get away from the religion type hysteria
Great news that Johnson is reneging on his promise to increase the minimum wage. And workers rights. That means my latte’s will stay cheap. Also as no Brits will do those crap jobs for low pay, I’m hopeful they’ll allow some big titted Polish girls in on visas to fill the jobs. Can always boot them back to Warsaw if we get them up the spout, to avoid any drain on the NHS. All looking good. Just hoping he doesn’t actually spend any money on the northern working class seats he’s won. Don’t see the point in that, some are born to be poor.
